Grade Exams on the right track
Grade Exams can be a motivating and positive experience when used in the correct way. We are firm believers, though, that exams shouldn’t be the goal of learning music.
Exams should be only another way to assess the level.
We do not ‘fast track’ a pupil through exams. We always ensure the development of secure musical foundations.
Grade Exams need a high level of commitment. It requires regular practice and a strong parental involvement.
To ensure a complete and rounded musical education, the grades program includes::
ABRSM or Trinity Exams preparation
Individual 45 or 60 minutes lessons.
Once a month 90 minutes group lessons (PREMIUM only). Aimed to reinforce, through games and group activities, aural skills, improvisation and theory. They are a great way to make friends, learn from others, practice making music in group. Oh, and are great fun!
Three concerts thought the year. One at the end of each term.
Possibility to perform in external events such as music festivals and competitions.
Mock exams with a different teacher to get ready before the exam date.
But we also thought about you, the parent. We aim to make this journey as easy as possible for you:
Learn how to help your kid get the best out of practice with our private meetings with our Head Teacher.
Know what your kid has learnt, where they're at and what the next steps are with our termly reports.
Stay in the room during lessons. Or chill out in our waiting room having a coffee or tea and discuss with other parents. We are sure you share many common experiences!
Books included in your fee. We’ll make sure your kid gets everything they need on time and without effort.
We do a flat monthly rate. Pay the same amount every month regardless the number of lessons included on it. Set up a Direct Debit and forget about it!
Want to take vacations? Yeap, we thought about that too! We only provide lessons during school term dates, so everyone can get some time to relax… including us.
A change of circumstances? Give us one month paid notice and you can stop lessons. That easy.
That is it. The best thing now is to come to a FREE consultation. Visit the school and have a chat with our Head Teacher. Discuss your kid's goals and find the best suitable time to start!
