SONJA CVETKOVIC

Piano Teacher

Sonja has been a Piano teacher for more than 16 years. She graduated with honours at Music Academy at University of Arts in Belgrade in 2004 where she gained her Master degree few years later.

Sonja started playing piano at the age of 5 and as a young girl participated and won prizes in numerous local and international competitions (Slovakia, Italy, France).

Throughout musical studies she was performing as a soloist (Germany, France, Switzerland), as a part of various chamber music ensembles and as a duo with her brother Stanko Madic, violinist (Concertmaster of Bavarian Radio Orchestra in Munich and Concertmaster of Nuremberg State Philharmonic Orchestra).

After she graduated, she started her teaching career. Through the years she is working with children from age of 5 and up, keeping lessons fun and relaxed, as well as preparing them for exams, competitions, recitals, etc.

Her students performed in many concerts and music festivals and won over 100 prizes in domestic and international competitions. Many of her students even continued with their higher musical education.

She is dedicated and focused in bringing love for music and piano by adopting her approach and teaching to individual needs of every student. She enjoys developing their own emotional creativity and imagination in comprehension of piano and music in general.
